Each of us have been aiming, dreaming and praying to have a peaceful country. For it has been said that the future of our country lies merely in our hands. SeMesTer BrEak: A wEek To REMemBer

After four months and three weeks of studying, learning new ideas, hectic schedules, mountains of school works and etc., here comes the semester break. Most of us, students were very happy about it. Because we knew that this is the right time for us to relaxed, have time with our loved ones and escaped from many school works.

During my semester break, I have done a lot extraneous activities. I very much enjoyed it especially the days when I spend it with my family, relatives and my friends. October 23 and 24, one of the candidates for SK Chairman called me up to go to their house. We have done a lot of things there like "chikahan", sound trip, food trip, and many more. October 25, it is the Barangay Election so, I woke up early because I served as the chairman of the watchers of one SK Chairman candidate. It was almost 10:00pm when I reached home. October 26, the City Government of Vigan headed by City Mayor Eva S. Medina celebrated the Little City Government Day and I was chosen as the Little City Chief Manpower and Development Officer. I was the counterpart of Mrs. Guerrero, the City CMDO. I have learned a lot of things that makes Vigan unique and differs from other cities and municipalities around the Philippines. October 27, I went to school today because we, the SSG Executives were requested to go to school to finished all the narrative reports of thee SSG Programs/ Projects that have been implemented. After I have finished mine, I have a fun time with my best friend, Joe. October 28, it was my first time to go to a business trip to Laoag with my mom and her office mates. We have a shopping gallore at Robinson's Mall and taste the Laoag's pride - miki and empanada. October 29, our SSG adviser called me up to go to school and asked me to work on something. Then after that, my friends and I went to JTC Mall to have an amusement then we have a ghost movie marathon at my friend's house. October 30, we went to Mira Hills because Danae, the incoming SK Chairman of our barangay together with her kagawads have their blow out. At first, I was enjoying but after how many hours my skin allergy have attacked me. So, I decided to go home. October 31, I have just stayed in our house and take a rest. November 1 and 2, we visited our departed ones. We offered candles, flowers and prayers.

This is how I spend my semester break. it is a tiring one but it is all worth it. LADY06^_^

TeAcHerS "The REaL HerOeS"

Teachers are said to be the "agents of change" in the society. They are the agents who enthusiastically give their service in sharing their wisdom and values to the students. Their role is to inform, to form and to transform the students to become intellectually competent guided with values and virtues in their task of serving the school and the community.

Teachers teach not only by the simple words that come out of their mouths but by the way they live their own lives. They also play a significant role in the lives of every student. As they say, teaching is the noblest of all profession. There wouldn't be professionals without teachers. They are our second-parents. And also our friends who unselfishly share their precious time and unstinting efforts as we journey the avenue leading us to our priceless goals. The most important legacy that a teacher could do is to reach-out and touch the lives of every student.

They are like potters that mold clay into a incredible jar. They make childish minds into a mature thinking one. Making a young man into a grown-up man. They are also like gems that accord us with sustaining counsel and whose deep appreciation had dexterously molded us into talented and responsible students.

Kudos! Dear teachers, you are the real heroes.

In my ICT-IV subject, I have learned a lot of things. It has widen my knowledge in field of INTERNET. But the best lesson, that I have enjoyed so much is blogging. There are a lot of things that can be done through blogging. It is one of my ways in expressing my thoughts or ideas on a certain topic or issues. It had made me to become a graphic artist even if its only in the world of blogging. These are just simple learning's of mine but had played an important role in making me become aware of the things around me especially on a certain event or issue.
Every learning's or discoveries that I learned, there is always

LOVE & CARE for the ENVIRONMENT and the FILIPINO DIALECT

Preserving the environment and the Filipino dialect is everyone's duty. How can we help stop the destruction/elimination of the environment and the Filipino dialect? And how can we preserve them for the next generation's to come.

The environment help us in controlling or preventing the natural calamities such as flash floods, soil erosion and others. In the previous years, the environment showed to us , Filipinos the importance of having them. Illegal logging is the culprit to the denuded forests in the country. Because Filipinos are not aware of the importance of reforestation, they continue to abuse the land and its resources. Same story is with the Filipino dialect. we are now in the modern world where technologies are surrounding us. Nowadays, Filipinos are good inventors of unique dialect. Some of these are the "jejemons" and "harharmons". They use these are their own way of communication. They forgot what our National Hero Jose Rizal has stated which goes like this "Ang hindi magmahal sa sariling wika ay mas higit pa sa isang malansang isda".

In a few years time, the Philippines would have lost its rich forest and unique dialect. And would have move one step closer to the ultimate natural disaster and the eradication of our National dialect and the use of foreign and unique dialect. Will we wait and let this happen? Of course not and totally not, we should think of something to prevent from those. In terms of our environment, we should take good care, love them and prevent them from being ruin. And it terms of our National dialect, we should not be using other language. We should be proud to be a Filipino by using our own dialect.

Always remember that the environment and the Filipino dialect demand our love and care for them. So, we should give them that to preserve them for the next generation and can control from its elimination and destruction.
